Each tool answers a different question. Choose one based on the information you want to explore; you do not need to use every calculator or create an account.
Explore calorie and macro estimates
The BMR & TDEE calculator estimates energy use at rest and with activity. The macro calculator shows how its calorie estimate is divided into protein, carbohydrates, and fat. The calorie deficit calculator lets you explore how different goals affect its estimates.
Compare body measurements
The BMI calculator uses height and weight. The body fat calculator uses body measurements, while the ideal weight calculator compares several formulas. These tools calculate different things; their results are not interchangeable.
Explore lifting estimates
Enter a lift's weight and repetition count in the one rep max calculator to compare the Epley and Brzycki estimates and see training percentages. The result is a formula estimate, not a requirement to attempt that weight.
Getting useful results
- Check your units. Match your inputs to the selected units before calculating.
- Read the method. Each calculator explains its inputs and the formulas behind its results.
- Keep comparisons consistent. When comparing entries, use the same tool, units, and measurement method.
- Understand the limits. Formula estimates are not a personal health assessment or an individualized training plan.
